KUWAIT, Feb 13 (KUNA) — The State of Kuwait which advocates full-scale security at the regional and international levels always seeks to cooperate with the Interpol, affirms Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah.
Terrorism, narcotics’ crimes, money laundering, organized crimes, boosted by modern technology, pose a threat to the international community, thus there must be ongoing cooperation to fight all forms of crimes, said Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah, during a meeting with a visiting Interpol delegation headed by the Secretary General, Jurgen Stock.
A ministry statement quoted Stock as underlining during the meeting Kuwait’s pivotal role in combating crime regionally and internationally, also underscoring the state effective steps to clamp down on terrorism.
The two sides discussed cooperation mechanisms, mutual employment of expertise and training plans. (end)
